Futura Medical is committed to enhancing shareholder value through the development of innovative, non-prescription products for the consumer healthcare market, currently covering sexual health and pain relief.
The following agreements have been signed for our medical devices:
CSD500 (The Condom Safety Device) - Global distribution agreement with SSL International plc. CSD500 is expected to be Futura’s first product to market.
FLD500 (The Female Lubrication Device) - Global distribution agreement with SSL International plc.
Drugs:
MED2002 - a non-prescription topical treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED) - Global development and licensing agreement with SSL International plc.
TPR100 - a topical treatment for the provision of pain relief using our DermaSys® technology. GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare had entered into an exclusivity agreement for the negotiation of the global distribution rights for TPR100 which terminated on 31 March 2008. Commercial negotiations are continuing on a non-exclusive basis.
GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare is a division of GlaxoSmithKline plc (GlaxoSmithKline), the global pharmaceutical and healthcare group.
Our other drug products, which are not currently partnered, are:
PET500 - an over-the-counter topical treatment for premature ejaculation (PE).
In addition, we are evaluating the use of our proprietary delivery system DermaSys® with a range of other compounds.
